Announcement June 6/16/2020
The Sasquatch GPS race scheduled for this Sat 6/20 has been CANCELLED.
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do and everyone involved in this including Derek, myself and all the other volunteers that have put countless hours into this are totally gutted. This was a total surprise as of this morning. The short answer for why is the property manager changed his mind. Environmental concerns was the driving factor.
I know a lot of you guys bought GPS devices and have made plans, all we can do is offer our sincere apology. We will start the process of reversing the race fee charges back to everyone ASAP.
Again, sorry. This was totally out of our control and we have exhausted all avenues to save it.

Challenge
35+ mile GPS guided loop. 8h Time Limit. No outside assistance, only rider assistance.
Payouts
For Overall Winners: 1st $300, 2nd $200, 3rd $125, 4th $75, 5th $50. Come and check out our first GPS race of the series!
Obstacles
For the Gold and Silver Classes, lots of creek beds, tricky hills, big rocks, and rugged terrain. Bronze is going to get a down-sized version of the obstacles.

Online Registration Fee: $ 65/ rider (before Tu 6/16/2020) – SRT SEER points racers pay $5 less!
We encourage you to register online EARLY! For an optimal racing experience, we want you to have ample time to receive the GPS track and upload it to your device.
Due to the race format, there is NO race day registration!!
Online Registration closes: Thursday, June 18, 2020 9:30 pm CST
GPS Tracks: We will send out class specific GPS tracks once online registration closes. You will receive your GPS track and instructions how to upload it to your device. Make yourself familiar with your device BEFORE Tuesday 6/16 so you know how to use it.
GPS Tracking during the race: It is the rider’s responsibility to make sure the track-back feature is on (to record the race). Consult with the manual of your device.
Check Points: There will be four check points with easy exit routes.
Gate Fee: $ 10/ person, 10 and under free
Assistance: No outside assistance, only riders assistance
Camping: Available but no hookups
This event is open to non-members.
Riders must be 16 years of age to participate.
